Information overload is not the source of your stress. If it was, you’d walk into a library and die.” – David Allen

after finding an excellent pair of 1950s cat-eye glasses at the dump, and my friends subsequently telling me i looked “like a librarian” throughout the following weeks, i started to put the pieces together: i liked libraries, they were free and comfortable and i could read david sedaris books until i fell off the couch in a fit of giggles… and hey, somebody had to do that job so why not me?!

i’ve been working on-call for reference, cataloguing, and children’s services since june of 2009 when i finished up my library technician’s diploma. i’m still schooling part-time, but most of my days are taken up with commutes to the various libraries i work at throughout surrey, and a lot of association email. if you wanna find out more about my work, go ahead and visit my linkedin profile. you can also:
